LOU's design philosophy is intuitive, defined by proportion, texture and carefully considered detail.
But no single perspective could define what LOU should be. So we brought together designers with different stories, different influences and different ways of seeing the world.
There is no single LOU aesthetic.
One designer might find beauty in simplicity. Another in colour, movement or unexpected details. Each collection carries something of the person behind it — their experiences, their references, their personality.

The WomanBehind LOU
Before it all began
Elena has always been drawn to the things that feel effortless but considered. A jacket with the right weight. A fabric that moves the way the body moves. Details that catch the eye without announcing themselves.
Over time, these small observations began to connect. A way of getting dressed that felt like a creative act — not a performance, but a quiet declaration of self. She wasn't trying to create LOU yet. She was simply becoming the person who eventually would.
Elena was always drawn to the details others might overlook.
The way someone dressed.
The character of a place.
The feeling of something worn with time.
She carried these small observations with her, slowly shaping a point of view that felt entirely her own.

What began as an instinct slowly became an idea. Elena imagined a wardrobe built around the way she actually wanted to live — expressive, effortless and made to feel personal.
That idea became LOU.
There was no grand beginning. LOU grew piece by piece — through ideas, sketches, fabrics and the constant process of making, changing and trying again.
For Elena, it was about creating more than clothes. It was about giving shape to a world she had been carrying with her for years.
The moment LOU stopped being only an idea and became something she could finally share with others.
